A station born of thirty years in the classroom
Estação Dashen was founded in 2014 by the Osipe family in Bandeirantes, northern Paraná, after three decades devoted to agronomic teaching and research.
The name
The name was suggested by a reverend and comes from Hebrew. Three close words, one field of meaning:
- Dasha
- to sprout, to germinate, to turn green
- Dashe
- grass, green turf, vegetation
- Dashen
- to prosper, to anoint, to pour oil upon the head
Together they describe the germination of a dream and the fertility of the land — and honour those who live from it.
Milestones
- 2014The station is founded in Bandeirantes, Paraná, by the Osipe family.
- 2016Credentialed by the Ministry of Agriculture for crop protection trials.
- 2019New credential, broadening the scope of trials run at the station.
- 2023Inmetro accreditation for residue studies under Good Laboratory Practice.
